If you are removing the black print cartridge in order to install the photo or gray photo print cartridge, store the black print cartridge in the print cartridge protector or an airtight plastic container. Remove the new print cartridge from its packaging and, being careful to touch only the black plastic, gently remove the plastic tape by using the pink pull tab. Hold the print cartridge with the EPSON logo on top, and insert the new print cartridge into the empty cartridge slot. Make sure you push the print cartridge in firmly until it snaps into place. Many issues are caused when the EPSON All-in-One is connected to the computer using a USB cable before the EPSON All-in-One software is installed on the computer. If you connected the EPSON All-in-One to your computer before the software installation screen prompts you to do so, you must follow these steps: Troubleshooting common setup issues 1. Disconnect the USB cable from the computer. Uninstall the software (if you have already installed it). Turn off the EPSON All-in-One, wait one minute, then restart it.
